We’re very pleased to launch our Celebrating Excellence Awards 2025 which recognise the achievements of our staff, volunteers, and fundraisers.

This is now a key annual event in the trust’s calendar and an opportunity for teams and individuals to share some of the excellent work happening across Newcastle Hospitals.

Whether that’s our doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical scientists, domestics, clerical staff, porters, our amazing volunteers and charity supporters, or anyone else working here - all of your hard work, care and commitment is essential to delivering high quality health services for patients.

It’s also a great time to come together to showcase what you’re proud of – and for us to say thank you for everything you do.

There are 13 award categories, plus a chair and chief executive’s award, and we hope to receive a record number of entries this year. Nominations are open until Friday 4 July.

Winners will be announced at our awards ceremony in Newcastle’s Civic Centre on Friday 17 October, which is once again gratefully supported by Newcastle Hospitals Charity.
